Physiotherapist, Co. Louth

A reputable client of ours is seeking to recruit a Physiotherapist to work on the full time basis across 3 nursing homes in Co. Louth.

Responsibilities:
* Carrying out comprehensive and detailed assessments of clients with a range of health conditions associated with ageing such as osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, falls, post-surgical rehabilitation, post hospital stay, neurological conditions, poor mobility, or loss of balance.
* Develop, implement, and evaluate the service and to measure effectiveness of outcomes for all clients.
* Be accountable for the Physiotherapy service provision by prioritizing referrals.
* Build and maintain rapport with clients and their families.
* Take responsibility for the management of own caseload and deliver feedback at scheduled case reviews and as required.
* Be responsible for maintaining up-to-date, accurate and appropriate records relating to clients' personal, family and medical information, their program of activity, any changes to their circumstances and other information that is relevant in line with GDPR guidelines.
* Ensure recognition of the resident as an individual; ensuring residents' rights, needs and comfort are given priority during the provision of care.
Promote and maintain resident safety and provide quality care through respecting the privacy, dignity, and rights of the resident.
* Plan, assess and deliver resident care that maximizes the resident's capacity to exercise personal autonomy and choice, together with all members of the Multidisciplinary Care Team.
* Be Person Centered, with excellent interpersonal qualities and communications skills


Requirements:
Essential:
o Applicant must be registered on the Physiotherapist Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU
o At least 2 years relevant work experience post graduation.
o Fully eligible to work in Ireland full-time

Desirable:

o Management qualifications
o Experience in Psycho Geriatric Nursing Care/ Psychiatry/ Adult Disabled.
o Have an in-depth knowledge of the ageing process.
o IT Skills
