This is an excellent opportunity for a Consultant Ophthalmologist Refractive to step into a Medical Director role in Dublin with a group of eye surgery centres in Ireland.
An eye surgery clinic group renowned for providing exceptional laser eye surgery in Ireland who have expanded into Inter-ocular lens surgery. They are now expanding Services after recently obtaining Joint Commission International accreditation in a brand-new, custom-built Surgery Centre in Dublin.

Refractive Consultant Ophthalmologist and Medical Director

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Exciting opportunity to bring your expertise and skills in ophthalmic procedures and join our multi-disciplined medical team where you will have the opportunity to lead the group in expanding services to patients in Ireland's leading eye surgery centres

Role:
Will suit an experienced full-time refractive laser eye Ophthalmologist and Inter-ocular lens Ophthalmologist with the opportunity to join or progress to a Medical Director role.

The Medical Director shall be responsible for the direction of all clinical aspects of the assigned designated services and will assist in providing leadership for regulatory and accreditation compliance as related to the quality and safety of care delivered.


Required:

A registered a medical professional:
Listed on the Specialist IMC register (Applicants must be on the Specialist Division of the Irish Medical Council Register as an ophthalmologist or ophthalmic surgeon or should be eligible to be registered by way of being on the specialist register in the UK or in the EU
Operative skills in:
o High volume Inter-ocular lens surgery
o Laser eye surgery
o Minimum of 5 years experience
Must reside or be willing to relocate to Ireland

Qualifications and Experience:

Consultant Opthalmologist authorised on the IMC register and be on the Specialist Register
